From Paris based Astier de Villatte, the hand poured candle is free of paraffin, and other petrochemical byproducts and contains a mixture of soy oil, secret plant ingredients and a smidgeon of bees wax, in a hand made glass vessel. The tasty sensation of a slice of pastiera and an expresso at Scaturchio, the best pastry bar in Naples. Delicious almond, orange blossom, and Ylang-Ylang, lighted by a refreshing touch of petitgrain and neroli.

Benoît Astier de Villatte and Ivan Pericoli founded their company in 1996, together with members of the Astier de Villatte family and friends from the École des Beaux-Arts. They draw their inspiration from the history of decorative arts, popular arts and neglected objects.

Gradually, the duo assumed sole responsibility for the company, building its reputation through word-of-mouth rather than advertising strategies.
